DESCRIPTION:
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain computer systems throughout the office and studio complex 
• Establish and follow routine maintenance procedures and schedules for all computer systems. 
• Work closely with other members of the Engineering team as required providing technical support services that may include, but not be limited to, studio maintenance and transmitter service work. 
• Work with all departments in support of computer systems. 
• Interact well with fellow employees and members of the general public as required. 
• Assist in ongoing strategic planning of required systems. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong working knowledge of computer based audio store, forward and playback systems highly desirable. 
• Strong working knowledge of day to day networking principles 
• Good manual dexterity and good vision. 
• Good troubleshooting abilities.
• May require lifting or moving up to 75 pounds.
• May require climbing ladders and working on elevated surfaces, such as rooftops.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time.

Position requires carrying a cell phone and pager to be available to provide services as broadcasting is a 24/7 business.

EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+years of post-secondary education in computer technology or equivalent work experience. 
• SBE certification or computer industry accreditations such as Microsoft A+ and/or MCSE desirable. 
• Must possess valid state driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
