Job Alert - NM Direct Caregivers Coalition

Recently, the Workforce Investment Act program (facilitated by the New Mexico Workforce Connection), received an excellence award from the New Mexico Direct Caregivers Coalition in recognition of the WIA's contribution to training certified caregivers.  The WIA staff is excited about our ongoing partnership with the Coalition and this blog will feature jobs available to caregivers through the Coalition network:

A New Mexico agency serving persons with developmental diabilities seeks an independent contractor/s to provide subcare services for an individual with developmental disabilities.  Location of work is Albuquerque's northeast heights.  Applicants must pass a background check and possess a valid NM drivers license.  Training will be provided, a CNA license is preferred.  Hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 9am and 2pm to 4pm and the billable rate is $11/hour.  Interested applicants should email asalmon@highdesertfs.com for additional information or visit High Desert Family Services website at www.highdesertfs.com.

*Please note that with the exception of caregivers who hold the nationally-recognized DCA Credential (which the Coalition administers), the Coalition does not endorse direct caregivers or agencies.
