Featured Job - Tower Climber



180 Logistics is looking for qualified individuals that fit the below criteria for the Tower Climber position... 

  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable and a team-player mentality is a must. 
  • This position requires climbing and working at heights of 300 feet on average.
  • Construction background is preferred. 
  • References are required. 
  • Must be able to pass preliminary & random drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Must be able to work weekends and nights when required.
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, twist, stoop and squat. Must be able to reach and stretch.  Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
  • Visual ability correctable to 20/20.
  • Accurate hearing/speech/color recognition.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to learn and incorporate climbing and general work safety requirements.
  • Desire to function as part of a 3-4 man crew.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Basic mechanical abilities with hand tools and simple power tools.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT Drug Screen and Physical, Driver's Record Check, Background Check, and an Employee Reference Check.
  • Ability to work reliably under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to customer technical standards and practices.
Job duties will include:
  • Perform maintenance of wireless cell sites which involves the antennas, motors, towers, coax cabling, connectors, emergency generator, batteries/power equipment, the AC units, microwave dishes, GPS antenna etc.
  • Will also be responsible for assisting in repair of wireless towers and co-location system placement.
  • We will provide training and certification.
