Small Business Workshop

"Crowdfunding" is becoming an increasingly popular way for small businesses (especially start-ups) to raise money outside of traditional avenues like venture capital, angel investing or bank loans.  However, crowdfunding-generated dollars are not "easy money," and there are many pitfalls entrepreneurs must watch for when taking a project to Kickstarter, Indiegogo or another crowdfunding site.

This class will cover the basics of setting up a crowdfunding effort and important elements to consider when structuring descriptions, offers and rewards.  Veterans of crowdfunding campaigns will share their experiences.
