The New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants (NMSCPA) has announced it's first ever in-state Leadership Academy for young CPAs.The academy is designed for young CPAs to develop the skills necessary to become the next generation of leaders in business, government and public accounting. Participants will receive 16 CPE credits, two nights accommodation, meals and lots of relevant course material, including a copy of the book Strengths Based Leadership: Great Leaders, Teams and Why People Follow by Tom Rath. There is a $999 fee involved.
The event will take place November 17th-19th at Bishop's Lodge Resort in Santa Fe. Applications must be received by August 31st. Please visit the NMSCPA website for more information.
