Scholarship Opportunity

The National Security Agency (NSA) is currently accepting applications for the Stokes Educational Scholarship Program.


The purpose of this lucrative scholarship is to facilitate the recruitment of individuals who have demonstrated skills critical to the NSA.

The Stokes scholarship is open to high school seniors who plan to major in computer science or computer/electrical engineering and includes the following benefits:

  • Receive up to $30,000 per year for tuition and mandatory fees at the college of your choice.
  • Housing and travel entitlements available during summer employment.
  • Work during the summers at NSA for 12 weeks in areas related to your course of study.
  • Acquire real-world experience while receiving a year-round salary.
  • Guaranteed continued employment with NSA after graduation.
  • Health and life insurance, paid sick time and holidays and participation in federal retirement programs.
