Several New Mexico banks, credit unions and utility companies have stepped forward to assist furloughed workers.Missed or delayed paychecks can result in late or unpaid mortgage payments, utilities, car and credit card bills...so we encourage you to contact your financial institution and utility service providers to make arrangements for payments while you are furloughed.
Wells Fargo, PNM, New Mexico Gas Company, Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority, Bank of America, CenturyLink, Federal Credit Unions (Kirtland, New Mexico Educators, Sandia Laboratory, US New Mexico), Los Alamos National Bank, New Mexico Community Banks and YMCA of Central New Mexico are some of the companies that are willing to help customers during a furlough.
